Hospital Managers’ Evaluation To Take Place In March – Health Min

Romania’s health minister Eugen Nicolaescu said that all hospital managers are to be evaluated in March, one year after being appointed in their positions and evaluation results will be made public.

The minister held a videoconference with the representatives of sanitary and administrative units throughout Romania.

He said that people need to know what managers have done in the past year and added that both excellent and bad results were registered in the last year.  

Nicolaescu said there is an evaluation methodology that managers will receive in the following period.

“In the healthcare sector, 2008 needs to be the year of quality and we plan to emphasize this aspect,” the minister concluded.
