42 Romanian Counties Get Code Yellow Warning For Strong Winds

Romania’s Ministry for the Environment on Saturday sent out yellow code warning for 42 counties throughout the country, that are to be confronted in upcoming days with strong winds.

The meteorology authority ANM sent out a yellow code warning for Sunday and Monday for the counties of Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Braşov, Brăila, Botoşani, Buzău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Caraş-Severin, Călăraşi, Cluj, Constanţa, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Iaşi, Ilfov, Ialomiţa, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Satu-Mare, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea as well as for Bucharest.

Meteorologists expect strong winds of up to 60-70 kilometers/hour.
