Grindeanu: The stage of work on the Braila-Galaţi Expressway has reached 90%

“The stage of work on the Braila-Galaţi Expressway (10.76 km) has reached 90%. The Romanian builder is currently installing the metal deck of the cable-stayed bridge over the Siret River (the second largest cable-stayed bridge in Romania, after the Agigea Bridge), writes Sorin Grindeanu on Facebook.

The Minister of Transport states that 150 workers and 210 pieces of equipment are currently mobilized on the construction site of this new expressway, built with funding from the 2021-2027 Transport Program.

“After completion this year, DEx6 will connect with the Suspension Bridge over the Danube in Brăila,” concludes Grindeanu.
