Mixed with the snow that fell on Monday, the artificial snow that can be produced will help to maintain the slopes in optimal conditions, the authorities announced on Tuesday.

„The snowmaking system operates in areas with high wear, such as Drumul Roșu, from the intersection with the Opriș variant to the chairlift; the landings from the chairlift and gondola; the big wall; the Postăvarul slope (on the Lupulu slope, before the chalet). In these conditions, ski with caution, considerably reducing your speed, because in the areas where the snowmaking facilities operate, its consistency is different, greatly slowing down the sliding. At the same time, wear ski goggles, to benefit from good visibility. Warning signs have been installed in the areas where snow is produced,” according to the Brașov authorities.

Skiing is possible on the slopes of Doamnei, Ruia (from the intersection with Drumul Roșu), Drumul Roșu, Sulinar, Subteleferic (from the intersection with Sulinar – Bradul variant) and in the upper area of the Lupului slope, with an exit to the Ruia chairlift station (6-seater chairlift), and on the beginner slopes of Bradul and Stadion.
