„First of all, he is subordinate to a minister. I support any control activity; it seems appropriate to me that such actions are carried out. But I think he is exaggerating in some areas. However, it’s not my job to discuss things with Mr. Piedone. I have spoken with Minister Bogdan Ivan, and I am confident that he will handle the necessary discussions,” said Marcel Ciolacu when asked if he agreed with the approach of ANPC President Cristian Popescu Piedone.

The PM also mentioned, “there is too much personal publicity.”

„I believe there is too much publicity, which is, in a way, becoming personal publicity. It should remain within the scope of the job description,” Ciolacu concluded.
