The Romanian authorities increased the taxation base by eliminating pension ceiling for employers and including the entire gross income of the employees, an official with Ernst&Young said.

The enlarged taxation base will have a positive impact on the revenues to the state budget, said Claudia Durus, Ernst&Young human capital expert.

As to the labor costs, Romania ranks somewhere in the middle of the European classification, Durus said.
