Romania Air, Sea, Road Traffic Under Strict Surveillance

Air and sea traffic are closely under surveillance and constant monitoring while road traffic on national road 1, in capital Bucharest and southeastern Constanta is also closely watched starting Tuesday morning, the national NATO summit security force said.

Air traffic is watched by air patrols of Romania’s armed forces and NATO patrols.
 
During the NATO summit hosted in Bucharest on April 2-4, Romania has imposed a series of restrictions banning flights in the Bucharest area except for general and summit-related air traffic.
 
Traffic on the Romanian Black Sea is monitored and checked by the border police and Romanian Military Marine.
 
In Bucharest, road traffic is restricted in areas destined for official convoys and summit related activities.
