Moldovan President Voronin To Attend NATO Summit In Bucharest

Moldovan president Vladimir Voronin will arrive in Bucharest on Thursday, April 3 around 11 a.m. local time and will go back to Chisinau in the evening, diplomatic sources told MEDIAFAX Tuesday.

Voronin will attend the NATO summit in Romania’s capital city of Bucharest, people close to the Chisinau presidential office told Moldovan news agency BASA-press.
 
Voronin will be accompanied by foreign affairs and European integration minister Andrei Stratan and defense minister Vitalie Vrabie.
 
The NATO summit starts Wednesday evening, April 2, with a working dinner of the NATO heads of state and governments at the Romanian Cotroceni presidential palace.
 
Summit works continue Thursday with the North Atlantic Council and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. Friday, April 4, will be dedicated to the NATO-Ukraine and NATO-Russia Councils.
