Voronin will attend the NATO summit in Romania’s capital city of Bucharest, people close to the Chisinau presidential office told Moldovan news agency BASA-press.
Voronin will be accompanied by foreign affairs and European integration minister Andrei Stratan and defense minister Vitalie Vrabie.
The NATO summit starts Wednesday evening, April 2, with a working dinner of the NATO heads of state and governments at the Romanian Cotroceni presidential palace.
Summit works continue Thursday with the North Atlantic Council and the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. Friday, April 4, will be dedicated to the NATO-Ukraine and NATO-Russia Councils.
