Representatives with the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, or ISU, have isolated the area.

Lucian Jacodi, ISU spokesperson, said the train cars have not been put back on track as they are too heavy. ISU representatives said that even though fuel is licking from the train cars, there is no danger.

On Thursday morning, railroad traffic on route Mirsid-Jibou was blocked.
