The interim leadership of the General Police Inspectorate will be provided by Gheorghi Plai, deputy chief of police.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Interior, David insists on the halting of the contract, with its Police Inspectorate accepted format. "As long as I am minister, this contract will not be unfolded," David said, quoted in the press release.
