Two Romanians were taken by helicopter to a hospital in Pisa. The two have burns on their entire bodies and their condition is bad. Initially they were supposed to go to Rome, but since the Sant’ Eugenio hospital didn’t have any free beds, they were taken to the Toscana region, news agency ANSA informed online.
A third Romanian, flat mate with the two, was taken to a hospital in Naples, and an 18-year old Romanian girl was hospitalized in the town where the explosion occurred, Latina. The girl’s injuries are mild.
The strong blast brought down one portion of the building and was probably caused by a gas leak
