Romanian Migrants Own 1,500 Cos In Italy’s Milan – Press

Romanian migrants own over 1,500 companies and firms in Italy’s city of Milan, which places them first among EU migrants in the city, Italian regional Chamber of Commerce said Thursday, quoted by APcom news agency.

Romanian companies are surpassed by Egyptian and Chinese ones, the mentioned source said.
 
It said Egyptian migrants own 4,344 companies in the region, while Chinese own 2,729 companies.
 
Foreigners own 17,160 companies total in the region, which translate in over 20,000 jobs.
 
Over 30% of the companies with foreign capital in Milan operate in the retail industry, and 28.6% have activities in the constructions field.
