The liberals and social democrats have agreed ahead of the Sunday parliamentary polls to start negotiations for a coalition government to include the Hungarian minority party UDMR, the mentioned sources said.

However, the liberals proved to be too rigid in their claim for the premier office, they said.

Moreover, most of the social democrats are not to keen on forming a coalition government with the liberals. According to the mentioned sources, party leaders would rather ally with centrist rivals Democratic Liberal Party.
