Police allege the parts were stolen from the car plant.
According to chief of local police Cristian Mihalcea, police found thousands of new car parts in the man’s home and attic.
The man didn’t have any documents to prove he got the car parts legally and early investigations indicate he is part of an auto theft network.
"We’ve searched this man’s home and we found Dacia car parts everywhere. He is being heard to see where he got the parts and identify all the people involved in this case,” Mihalcea said.
Investigators said the parts, which were most likely stolen from the car plant, are worth more than EUR300,000 and were going to be sold in stores.
