Over 1,000 employees in Romanian Vaslui county will be collectively laid off in the near future because of restructuring in the activities of companies, due to the economic crisis, representatives of the Vaslui County Employment Agency announced Tuesday.

Seven economic agents in Vaslui county informed the agency that there will be olelctive layoffs in March and April.
 
Thus, by the end of March, 840 employees of SC Rulmenti SA Barlad, 19 employees from a national shoe store chain, 54 employees from an alcoholic beverage factory and 22 employees from two construction companies will be laid off.
 
In Apriil, the collective layoff lists will include 175 people from two companies – SC Vastex SA Vaslui, with 147 employees, and one company from the wood processing industry, with 28 employees.
 
In the first two months of the year, in Vaslui county there were 583 people collectively laid off, especially in construction.
