ArcelorMittal Galati Management Asks Govt To Step Up Infrastructure Projects

The request was issued by a delegation of the company in a meeting with the representatives of the government, which took place several weeks ago.

According to Kochuparampil, another proposition involved the enactment of measures that would encourage banks to resume lending.

The company manager is optimistic and believes measures will be taken soon to improve consumption.

ArcelorMittal is the largest steel company in the world, with 330,000 employees in over 60 countries. In Romania, the company controls the steel processing plants in Hunedoara and Galati, the pipe making plants in Roman and Iaşi, the port operator Romportmet Galati and the local branch of the construction company ArcelorMittal Construction.
