"I insist that SMEs should expand abroad. There are Romanian products that are not known even on the local market, not to mention abroad. We must increase exports," Nita said Wednesday at the opening of an SMEs Fair in Bucharest.

In order to ease SMEs’ access on international markets, the minister plans to launch Wednesday a portal on foreign trade, where the companies will be able to access information about any country in the world.

"It is a good instrument for promoting our products," Nita added.
