Zgonea said, in a press conference in the northeastern city of Suceava, that PSD wants the present campaign to speak to the people and explain why they need to go out and vote. He expressed his hope that the voters in the counties of Suceava and Botosani will turn towards a leftist party.
Zgonea estimates PSD will obtain between 13 and 15 seats in the EU Parliament, depending on the mobilization of its main electorate, stressing that PSD is the party with the highest mobilization.
Romania holds European Parliament elections on June 7.
