The three new patients are a 27 year old man from Bucharest, who recently returned from Mexico, a 22 year old woman from Galati and a 25 year old man from Brasov, who both returned from the United Kingdom. The woman is suffering from pneumonia and has been transferred to Bucharest’s “Matei Bals” Institute.

The two men’s cases are not serious.

Romanian health authorities have begun an epidemiologic investigation to track down all people infected with the AH1N1 virus. The health ministry asked airlines to offer their support to authorities.
