Five My Air Flights Due To Take Off From Bucharest Cancelled Wednesday

Low-cost airliner My Air on Wednesday cancelled five of the six flights due to take off from Bucharest’s Baneasa airport, according to the airport’s general manager, Gheorghe Mihalcea, who stressed My Air officials failed to offer any information whatsoever in this respect.

"My Air officials did not provide any information with respect to cancelled flights," Mihalcea said.
 
Another My Air flight due to land on Baneasa Tuesday evening and take off to Rimini (Italy) on the same evening, was late and arrived in Romania Wednesday morning.
 
Contacted by MEDIAFAX, My Air general manager, Antonio Iervolino, said he knew nothing about the cancelled flights, stressing My Air officials are currently in talks to recapitalize the company and draw up an industrial plan.
