Patients To Have Representatives In Romanian Doctors College

“The Doctors College is the first institution that effectively accepts the patients’ representatives in its committees. We are practically observing the European norms which demand it clearly in the European Charter of Patients’ Rights. Patients have to be represented in the management board of the National Health Insurance House, the committees of the Health Ministry and in the hospitals’ management boards. We hope authorities will be open to our message,” said head of the institution, doctor Vasile Astarastoae.
