French Correctional Court Sentences Three Romanians To Prison On Assault Charges

The three Romanians, identified as Florin, Leonard and Stan, were repeatedly asked to stop disturbing public order and bothering drivers. They were also asked to return the money taken from drivers.

The court found the three guilty of assault and complicity with intent to intimidate and sentenced Leonard to six months in prison, Florin to three months in prison and Stan to two months in prison.

The three denied any wrongdoing, but many drivers said they were very aggressive. In fact, one driver said the three insulted him, hit him and poured liquid soap in its gas tank because he refused to give them money.
