People close to the social democrat ministers told MEDIAFAX that the government meeting focused exclusively on the normative acts on the agenda, but at the end, in talks attended exclusively by the members of the Cabinet, Boc asked the social democrats if their stance remains the same and they still support Dan Nica.

Minister Ilie Sarbu told Boc the social democrats respect the party’s decision in this matter and, if Nica is dismissed, they will resign.

Boc, after hearing the social democrats’ replies, concluded that, given the circumstances, all that’s left to do is await President Traian Basescu’s decision.
