„Romania will sign no treaty to redefine the border between Romania and the Republic of Moldova,” said Basescu, adding the country recognized the Republic of Moldova’s borders as bequeathed from the Russian Soviet Union.

Basescu said that, in these conditions, Romania agrees to sign an agreement to set „border regulations”.

Basescu and a delegation of six ministers are on an official visit to the Republic of Moldova Wednesday and Thursday.
