The decision was approved in a Government meeting last week.

According to the ministry, the e-Romania strategy aims to modernize the state by facilitating online communication between public administration bodies and taxpayers, adding RON245.1 million will be allotted in 2010, RON714.5 million in 2011, 575.8 million in 2012 and RON364.8 million in 2013.

The ministry said e-Romania will ease taxpayers’ access to information and will help them pay taxes rapidly, as the tax collecting system will simplify, which will further contribute to reducing tax evasion.
