„All state institutions will support the production of renewable energy, but some projects have minor shortcomings, because of bureaucracy. We will unconditionally support renewable energy, but within certain reasonable limits, meant to ensure the system’s security,” Videanu said.

Romania has registered requests for the construction of wind farms with an overall output of 23,000 MW. This quantity is much too high for what the local system can withstand.

„It is obvious that such a capacity will not be possible. We will not support speculators, namely those who sell the projects. Let the investors come,” Videanu said.
