Romania has to respect all the terms agreed with the IMF to assure itself against all risks that can be worsened by the recent problems of Greece, said Jeffrey Franks, head of the IMF review mission after a meeting with Romania’s central bank governor Mugur Isarescu in Bucharest.

An IMF review mission arrived Wednesday in Romania to assess progress under the EUR13 billion stand-by agreement.

Franks added the IMF is currently reevaluating Romania’s macroeconomic prognosis.
