Prince Charles Cancels Visit To Romania Citing Health Reasons

„We received a call Monday evening and we were told Prince Charles has cancelled his visit and meetings with the president and prime minister because of health issues. We were told his doctors said he has a few minor respiratory issues and recommended he reduces his travel schedule,” the sources said.

The heir apparent to the British throne was supposed to arrive in Romania later this week and visit the Romanian region of Transylvania, where his foundation is currently engaged in projects regarding the preservation of local customs and marketing of ecological products.

Romanian authorities have not yet been informed whether the visit would be rescheduled, the sources also said.
