Boca added it is not known which airline owns the airplane involved in the incident.

A Romanian and a Turkish plane nearly collided Wednesday night at Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel, when the Turkish plane attempted to take off as a Romanian approached the same runway to land, ynetnews.com reported Thursday.

The website said the airplanes belonged to Turkish Corendon Airlines and Tarom, respectively.

The Israel Airports Authority reported the incident to Transportation Ministry’s chief aerial accidents investigator, Attorney Yitzhak Raz, for investigation.
