BCR co-financed 600 EU-funded projects last year, with an average value of some EUR900,000, said Ramona Ivan, Executive Director of BCR’s Financial Institutions Division.

Ivan expects „great things” from the transports segment, since this sector generates the most effects in the economy.

She added Romania should focus on achievable projects.

„I don’t see great achievements sooner than one year through public-private partnerships in Romania, but we need to focus on projects that are doable,” the BCR official explained.
