All medical services a card owner receives will be registered with the health insurance houses’ electronic system. Auctions to implement the system will be carried out starting this fall.

Health Minister Cseke Attila said in January that, by 2012, every citizen would have a national health insurance card, adding a solution for uninsured people should also be found. The minister said this card would remove the need for citizens to travel to the National Health Insurance House and get proof of having paid their healthcare contributions.
