Romanian State-Owned Railroad Cos Owed RON5.6B In Aug

The state budget debts owed by the three Romanian state-owned railroad companies, CFR SA, CFR Marfa and CFR Calatori, cumulated 5.6 billion lei (EUR1=RON4.2765) at the end of August, while the overall loss reached RON721 million, according to local Transport Ministry data.

The widest loss was registered by CFR SA in January-August, namely RON529.57 million, while CFR Marfa posted a loss of RON147 million and CFR Calatori posted a loss of RON44.52 million.

The widest debts is owed by CFR SA, RON4.2 billion, followed by CFR Marfa, RON803.25 million and CFR Calatori, RON588.56 million.

CFR SA posted revenues of RON2.12 billion in the interval analyzed, while expenditure reached RON2.65 billion.

CFR Marfa registered revenues of RON660.64 million while expenditure reached RON807.55 million.

During the same interval, CFR Calatori posted revenues of RON1.57 billion and expenditure of RON1.61 billion.
