The Government will send the bill to Parliament after it approves it Monday in view of seeking a confidence vote to pass it into legislation.

According to the bill, wages in the public sector are to increase 15% next year and will still remain lower than this summer, when the Executive cut a quarter of state workers’ pay. People close to Cabinet talks on the bill quoted the prime minister as saying the minimum wage would be increased to 670 lei (EUR1=RON4.2972) from the current RON600.
