Romania’s Only Libyan Partner Is National Transitional Council – President

„The National Transitional Council is the only partner Romania recognizes in Libya, until a better structure emerges,” Basescu said at a meeting with Romanian ambassadors.

The head of state added he will participate in an international conference concerning Libya, which will take place in Paris on Thursday.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy said Wednesday the conference aims to find solutions to help Libya and prepare it for the post-Gaddafi period. He added that Russia, China and India are invited to attend the meeting.
