The minister called on „professional auction contestants” to understand that failure to draw up a proper bid blocks investments, and warned that the Romanian state will recover losses in court.

The Romanian Government has recently allowed the National Authority for Public Procurement Regulation and Monitoring (ANRMAP) to check the paperwork based on which public procurement procedures are carried out. Until this week, ANRMAP only ensured that those documents existed and that public procurement steps were followed.
The first checkups the authority has carried out revealed several irregularities regarding auction documentation.
