Romanian PM, Mins To Discuss IMF Loan With Parliament Officials Next Wk

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc and part of the ministers will discuss next week the agreement with the International Monetary Fund, with the two Parliament Chambers' Standing Offices and the Budget-Finance Commissions.

„Next Monday and Tuesday, there will be similar talks with the PM and the ministers of Boc Cabinet,” the Senate Chairman, Mircea Geoana, stated Wednesday, at the beginning of the talks with the central bank’s representatives on the IMF agreement.

The central bank’s representatives in the meeting are governor Mugur Isarescu, chief economist Valentin Lazea, Surveillance Department director Nicolae Cinteza and Lucian Croitoru, governor’s adviser.
