UK Retailer Next Home To Open 1st Store In Romania, In EUR200,000 Invest

British retailer Next Home will open Thursday its first store in Romania, in the Liberty Center shopping mall from the capital city Bucharest, following a EUR200,000 investment.

The store will have a surface of 100 square meters, the company announced Wednesday.

UK’s Next ensures its distribution through three main channels, respectively Next Retail – a chain of over 480 stores opened worldwide, Next Directory – a catalog distributed through direct mailing and a website.

The brand Next entered the Romanian market last year by opening a clothing store in Bucharest.

The Liberty Center shopping mall has a retail area of 25,000 square meters, accommodating several brands, including Austrian sports retailer Hervis, Mark&Spencer, Next, Reserved, Cropp Town, Sprider, Altex/Media Galaxy and Billa supermarket. The mall’s food court includes restaurants and coffee shops as Starbucks, Burger King, Mc Donalds, KFC, Pizza Hut and Asia.
