The consortium of liquidators is made up of Casa de Insolventa Transilvania SPRL in the country’s central city of Cluj Napoca and RVA Insolvency Specialists SPRL from the capital city Bucharest.

The liquidators decided to use the same strategy as in the previous bid and to keep the platform’s price at EUR35 million.

„There will be a new bid at the end of April, exactly like the previous one and at the same price of EUR35 million. In parallel, we drew up the necessary documentation to «break» the platform and sell its equipment separately and divide the land in plots,” Andrei Cionca, a representative of Casa de Insolvents Transilvania SPRL Cluj Napoca, told MEDIAFAX on Tuesday.

On March 18, Rulmentul liquidators annulled the bid won last December by Tampa Resort company, as the auction winner failed to pay any of the three tranches worth EUR35 million for the assets of the Brasov-based plant.

Tampa Resort should have paid the sum in tranches, respectively EUR4 million in January, EUR9 million in February and EUR22 million by March 18.

Tampa Resort was the only bidder for Rulmentul in the 13th bid launched last December.

Rulmentul’s debts to the state currently total 80 million lei (EUR1=RON4.2348).
