Romanian SMEs May Submit Online Unemployment Statements As Of May 19

"So far, only large companies benefited from this facility, which was extended, in a first stage, for all legal entities in Bucharest and Ilfov," a press release of the Agency for Information Society Services (ASSI).

To submit online statements, legal entities must request the agency, which operates the National Electronic System (SEN), www.e-guvernare.ro, to issue a digital certificate, the release also read.

The agency, subordinated to the Ministry of Communications, was set up in 2007 and took over the attributions of the Inspectorate General for Information Technology (IGCTI), which operates countrywide the computerized systems of the public central administration, which provides public services for e-management.
