AC/DC To Play In Romania On May 31
Australian band AC/DC will play in Romania on May 31, as part of the Bucharest Rock Arena festival, which will take place 15 kilometers east of Bucharest, the event’s site said.

Other confirmations for Bucharest Rock Arena include Romanian bands Celelalte Cuvinte, Vita de Vie, Altar, AB4, Grimus, The Pixels, The Moood and Persona. Another famous international band, which is yet to be announced, will headline the festival on May 30.
Tickets are only available as passes for both days of the festival and are priced at 100, 200, 400 or 800 lei (EUR1=RON4.1189) and may be bought online, from www.ticketpoint.ro, or from the Diverta store chain.
AC/DC is a hard rock band founded in Sydney, Australia, in 1973 by brothers Angus and Malcolm Young. The current line-up consists of Angus Young – lead guitar, Malcolm Young –rhythm guitar, Brian Johnson – vocals, Cliff Williams – bass and Phil Rudd – drums. Their Romanian concert is part of the tour to promote AC/DC’s latest album, “Black Ice”, released in 2008.
