The Charlatans, made up of Rob Collins (keyboards), Jon Baker (guitar), Martin Blunt (bass), Jon Brookes (drums) and Tim Burgess (vocals), debuted in the early ‘90s.
Their latest album, "You Cross My Path", out in May of last year, is the band’s tenth release and is regarded as a “true masterpiece” by their fans.
Thanks to impressive performances at international festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Benicassim, Oxegen, T in the Park, Reading & Leeds and Isle of Wight, The Charlatans impressed Mick Jagger & Co., who granted them the opening slot for the 2007 Rolling Stones concert in Bucharest.
In 2009, aside from their shows as part of their new tour, The Charlatans will play a major role in selecting the bands that will play at this year’s Isle of Wight festival.
