Transport Min Attends Underground Passageway Opening S Romania

The passageway, which has two lanes and sidewalks, will connect the towns Pitesti, Ramnicu Valcea and Curtea de Arges to the Pitesti beltway, part of the Bucharest- Pitesti highway.

Orban, who attended the event alongside local authorities, the representatives of the construction company and the project designer, stressed he is pleased with construction works on the underground passageway, which, he said, amount to EUR14 million.

Orban will also reach national road 73 C, which connects Curtea de Arges-Domnesti-Aninoasa-Berevoiesti, to check the stage of upgrade works and afterward he will arrive at Curtea de Arges mayoralty where he will meet with local businesspeople to discuss the section IV project of the Pitesti-Sibiu highway.
