Romania’s Deputies Adopt Articles Of Law Allowing Govt To Issue Decrees During Parliament Recess

State secretary Valentin Iliescu said the draft law allows the Government to issue emergency decrees in six fields: finance and economy, agriculture, transports, public administration and interior, justice and prorogation.

Social democrat Florin Iordache, vice-president of the committee for legal matters, said the bill has already been adopted in the Senate, which means the Chamber takes the final decision.

Iordache said that, after debated in the committee, it was decided unanimously to propose the Chamber to adopt the draft law with amendments.
