AH1N1 Flu In Romania: 105 New Infections, 1,756 Total Cases

Romania’s Health Ministry Friday confirmed other 105 new infections with the AH1N1 flu virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,756, and most cases were reported in capital city Bucharest (41), Valcea county (13) and Bacau county (10).

Cluj county registered eight infections with the AH1N1 virus, Botosani and Suceava (6 cases each), Dolj and Vrancea (5 cases each), Ilfov county (4 cases), Arges and Salaj (2 cases each), Dambovita, Giurgiu and Sibiu (1 case each), the Health Ministry said in a press release Friday.

According to the Health Ministry, no school suspended activities in the last 24 hours due to the flu virus.
