Romania Sets New World Record For Largest CPR Lesson

The previous record, set in 2010 by Mexico, included 6,577 participants.

The Bucharest Ambulance Service gathered over 7,000 people on the Dinamo Stadium in Bucharest and taught them CPR moves for half an hour.

Health Ministry under secretary of state Raed Arafat said he is proud of Romania’s achievement and people should know they can offer first aid to anyone in need.

Guinness World Records official Anna Orford said she was impressed by the large number of people who attended the course.
