All Warheads Stolen From Romanian Train Recovered
Prosecutors said earlier Tuesday 79 warheads had been recovered Monday evening and one was still missing.
The missing warhead has been found in a well in Chitila, outside capital Bucharest, said the source.
Military prosecutors on Monday questioned over 50 people involved in the transport and have started criminal investigations against several of them. Hearings are set to continue Tuesday.
Four containers holding a total 80 warheads made by Romanian factory Tohan Zarnesti were stolen from a train that was delivering them to Bulgaria. The ammunition was reported missing in the Giurgiu station, close to the border.
