Romania Seeks To Attract Business Tourists In 2008

It said the 2008 budget for marketing and tourism promotion reaches some EUR8 million.

Aside from business tourism, the Romanian authorities will also promote cultural and spa destinations, geotourism, rural tourism, as well as winter sports and seaside destinations.

Romania hopes to attract this year tourists mostly from countries such as Germany, Italy, France, UK, Ireland, U.S. and Canada, as well as from Hungary, Israel, Austria, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the ministry said.
