Romania’s Economy Might Revive In 2010 – Econ Min

Romania’s economy might revive this year if the Government manages to efficiently communicate with the other economic and social structures and if banks resume lending, Economy Minister Adriean Videanu said Friday.

„I admit that communication is not our best feature, but we will try to communicate more efficiently,” Videanu told an economic forum.

Companies accessing European funds cannot implement their projects because of sluggish lending, he added.

The minister reiterated the idea that investors and people’s lack of trust affects the economy more than the financial aspect.
