One Dead, One Injured By Collapsed Wall In SE Romania

Investigations show a concrete post collapsed over the cemetery’s wall and caused a part of it to fall.

According to Constanta Police spokeswoman Paula Anghel, one person died crushed by the wall and another has been injured and was rushed to hospital.

Anghel said several other passersby might be caught under debris, adding intervention teams are striving to lift the concrete blocks.

Constanta Inspectorate for Emergency Situations representatives said later no other person has been found under the collapsed cemetery wall.
