Rompetrol hikes its Efix 95 gasoline price to RON4.21 and of Premium Euro 4 gasoline to RON4.25 per liter, while one liter of unleaded Euro Super 98 will cost RON4.84 per liter, Rompetrol said.
The company hikes its Super Euro 5 diesel price to RON4.87 per liter, and Efix Diesel price to RON4.58 per liter.
Lukoil Romania, a unit of Russian oil company Lukoil Holdings (LKOH.RS) hiked its diesel oil and gasoline pump prices Friday by up to RON0.12, and RON0.06 per liter, respectively.
Romania’s largest oil company Petrom SA (SNP.RO) hiked Wednesday gasoline and diesel oil pump prices by RON0.07 per liter and RON0.06 per liter respectively.
The Rompetrol Group, founded by oil tycoon Dinu Patriciu, operates in 13 countries and employs over 8,000 people. Its main assets are located in Romania, France, Spain and southeastern Europe.
Dutch-registered Rompetrol NV was bought by Kazakhstan’s KazMunaiGaz last year for an undisclosed sum. Rompetrol has an enterprise value of $3.6 billion, indicating KazMunaiGaz paid some $2.7 billion for a 75% stake in the company.
